GENERAL INFORMATION

The Observatory is located on the plateau of Asiago (altitude about 1000mt) about 90 km NW of Padova. The observatory buildings are located on two sites: 1) the historical observatory (Pennar) that houses the main buildings and offices and hosts the 1.22m reflector; 2) the Cima Ekar station (altitude 1350m) that hosts the 1.82m and the Schmidt telescopes. The main buildings are close to (15 min by foot) to the small town of Asiago while Cima Ekar is 10 km away from the town.
